Xmas Wishes

I'm off on a tropical adventure today. Well perhaps not quite that but still I'll be away with my hubby & daughters over the Xmas/New year period. There will be no computers or jewellery making tools of any kind for a good 10 days. This is a welcome break, although I'll miss you all.

Let me take a moment to thank you for the support you have given me over the past year. It is much appreciated and has been the reason this year has been so successful for me.

I wish you all a wonderful Xmas and New Year and I'll be looking forward to catching up in January 2007.

Sometimes you just feel so darn appreciated.

The very classy and lovely Jessica & Nancy Lim sent me a bottle of bubbly over the weekend. It was to thank me for being a stockist for their online store, Modamuse.

Plastica is a Los Angeles store dedicated to plastic. Hmmm sounds like a match to me. I may have to send them an email...

Husbands really can be such a mixed blessing. Oh yes they can, but mine is coming in rather handy at the moment. It is his Spanish side (Mother) that is proving useful, as he is able to decipher my growing number of Spanish speaking contacts. He can also work out a little Portuguese, or at least tell me when it is this.

It seems that much of the craft/arts of these countries is so vibrant, colourful and fun. Since I don't really know much more than this I plan to research this area in the New Year. Even if I can only get as far as my computer!

My husband is also half-Irish. I'm sure this heritage will come in handing somewhere down the track??

Knitwit Angel

The Shopping Sherpa is my official Knitwit guardian angel after having sending me two huge parcels jam packed with gorgeous lolly coloured vintage knitting needles.

Miss S.S is a Canberra based gal dedicated to a life of crafting and second-hand shopping. She has such a good eye for finding the best darn stuff that I am super happy and delighted to have her now keeping an eye out for me too!!

Home Stretch

I admit I did a crazy thing this weekend - I actually gave myself a day off. I can't remember the last time I had one of those! Anyway my little hiatus was short lived as the orders and restock requests came in thick and fast soon after. Anyway I'm not complaining, although perhaps I'm just a little tired, but most of all I'm grateful for all the support and interest.

Orders received prior to today have been posted and restock requests go out tomorrow.All new orders will be sent out by the next working day. Sleepy now.....
