About Liana

- My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

Geek Week - My Plastic Girls
Today is the start of Geek Week. For the next seven days all my geeky laundry will be aired. This is in celebration and support of fellow geekster Rebecca Ward and her upcoming Junk-IT exhibition. This was all the idea of Florence Forrest, number one Geek (in my book anyway!)
Here is my collection of Liana Kelly Dolls.
As a child I wished for a regular name, like my classmates. Tina and Karen were my top picks. I would look hopelessly at the array of printed mugs and stationery with Liane and Leonne but alas there was never a Liana. So recently when I found a doll with my name on it I had to have it, and I have been looking for new ones ever since.
If you were going to make me pick then Pool Party Liana would have to be my favourite.

What a great Geek Week start!
Thanks for the Geek Award of Excellence, I scored 80% on the nerd test, I'm pretty pleased. Check out my blog's sidebar after the archives section!
This is a fine collection, you should try and find fellow fans on Flickr. Where on earth did you find these?
At the toy store Flo!
I'm off to your sidebar now.....
doh!
Take me next time you go, Please!!!!
what's your score?
do you think it was a miss-print, miss liana?
because you are a true original.
Oh thank you.
But it is no misprint....I am not alone!
I love these cute little dolls! I have a few but have yet to make a piece of jewelry out of them. Hmmm…
Now listen hear Miss Midge just turn and walk away from the Liana dolls.
You may do what you will with Kelly.
Muuuahahahaha! We shall see about that! hehe ;-)
I'm WATCHING you!!!!
my 6 year old daughter's name is Liana Kelly - she's very excited about this doll.
