Brisbane, Australia
My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

D.I.Y Brooch

Some days I wish I had helper monkeys to make all my pieces for me. Then there are other days when I can't think of anything better than the pleasure derived from just making. On the days when the former is true this would be a great idea (well it just is anyway).

Its interesting to see that Art is moving out of the gallery into the world and Making is moving into the gallery. See also an article in caft vics newsletter about the guy who has set his studio up in the gallery so people can see what is involved in making the pieces he creates. A bit like you guys in the MOB studio too:)
