One of my favourite aspects of starting this blog has been the connection I've made with other people. Connections that are starting, and will no doubt grow.
A recent Internet customer Alicia, ISLANDGIRLA, wrote in an email a few things I agree with,
1. I really like having other artists pieces to show off.
2. I think we should all support each other in our creative endeavours
3. It's not very often that a 'one of a kind' comes along anymore.
Alicia also says something personal on her blogs about creativity and the healing powers of craft.
After losing everything we own in Hurricane Katrina and living in a hotel since August 29, 2005, we've turned to miniature creations through multimedia art forms. With the limited space available that comes with hotel living, I've found that crochet is a perfect small- spaced form of creativity with unlimited room for growth. To complement this, I've just started to learn the art of hand spinning. These two activities fit right into the small spaces of my life right now.
Alicia I think you are ONE OF A KIND, I want to support you in your creative endeavours and I'm happy to show you off through my blog.
