Brisbane, Australia
My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

Thanks Mike!!

Thanks to everyone who has congratulated me on my recent claim-to-fame (being mentioned in the current issue of knit.1). I must say though I had only heard that I was in it and hadn't actually seen it myself. I did pop down to Border's last week but alas they weren't that up to date. So I did feel a little nervous mentioning it because I had no idea what it said and sort of wondered if it did actually exist?

Today my fab. flickr contact Mike Wade offered to scan the mag for me and did so in lightening fast speed. I think it looks great, although perhaps "article" was overstating it, it look more like a snippet to me. A lovely one though.

Thanks Mike. I'll say it again - you rock!!

Congratulations on such a wonderful promotion! It may not be a full page spread, but at least you are in an article. I hope that this is the start of many more to come. You have some absolutely fascinating pieces of work. xox
