Betty Jo

Liz Jones is the designer/maker behind some fabulous quirky pieces. I have had my eye on her designs for a little while now, having spotted them online and in stores in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. I love her use of laminate and other op shop finds. She works her magic on these neglected treaures to make brooches and necklaces that are brimming with personality.

Having contacted me the other day and I have to say Liz is as friendly as her work. This led me to wonder how much we are like the work we make? Is it a reflection of who we are, or maybe rather who we would like to be? Anyway that is just something to think about.

Also, Liz did say she would never have a blog, but she has recently changed her mind, like so many of us!
