Brisbane, Australia
My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

Psst...

I have had my eye on Portuguese designer Maria Ribeiro for a little while now and for a while now I have also been tossing up whether to share her with you.

Not sure if this has ever happened to you, but sometimes you can just find something so wonderful, unique and available at a price you can afford that you want to keep it to yourself, knowing that once it gets out there you may longer be able to. But Maria's work deserves to be recognised and I think sold for so much more.

Thanks for taking the plunge and sharing this artist's work - her stuff is really quirky, I've not seen anything like it before!

Hello Liana, thanks for the message on my blog, i can't believe how many people wanted some helpful hints on markets & the reality of just what hard work they are. I would have loved to visit your stall in the Rocks, way back when . . . these craft businesses are a big learning curve & i think if you march to your own beat, it will work. I love your work!! One of my best customers is a huge fan of yours, has the knitting needle necklace & the divine Betty Jo (i think that's right) necklace, which she picked up from a gallery in VIC & proudly promotes you in the NT. Fabulous. Love Posie
