My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

Interview Me!

This is an unexpected follow-on to the blog post below!

I just got to redo my interview for The Age! Apparently the tape recorder with my craptastic interview failed and the reporter needed to ask those questions again. Initially I started to stumble and started wondering to myself 'Why haven't I thought about these things since last week's effort'!But the stars had aligned today and the words flowed with ease before too long - yeah! It did probably help that I was home alone and in a rather relaxed mood, plus I'd had a good night's sleep !!

The article should be in next week's Sunday edition of The Age, and this time I will be in it (hope so)!

Woo hooo! I'm so glad you got an interview - it's awful when you're not happy with something like that, and very cool you got a second chance!

So is that the 11th November issue we should be buying? I have a regular puzzle in the Sunday Age, so you can have fun doing that too (the Secret Shape puzzle in the mag insert)!

Yes - should be!

Maybe I'll give that puzzle a go too. Although this is not one of my strengths. I was always so embarassed trying to help my kids with their jigsaw puzzles when in preschool. I felt so judged by all the puzzle savy mother's watching me struggle so!! - hopeless!!
