- My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

Road Trip Score
I went on a little road trip yesterday on the hunt for supplies. Some days you score, and some day you don't. That's just the way it goes. Yesterday was one of those rare days when I found more than I had hoped for! It is great when this happens, and it is a nice balance for all the time spent looking with little success. I think I sometimes forget how much time this side of things can take.
pictured above less than half of the days find!

i bet that cost you a pretty penny. pairs of needles can range from 50cents to $2 a pair! nice findings.
Well done!...i know what you mean...somedays you can walk for hours and get nothing...and others just walk into one shop and there's a fab find waiting for you!....am sure you'll make some exquisite stuff with these...
Hey Laura, my boyfriend has surprisingly excellent negotiating skills when it comes to these things. So let's just say I did well...very well.
Hi Chrisy! That is so true, and you never really find something when you're looking for it.
I'm looking forward to playing with all these great needles. But for the moment I'm just enjoying them as they are.
