I am so making roller derby our family sport. That's what I have been telling my girls for a while now. I'm probably not that keen to play, or to have them play, but I am super keen to go to a bout. This keen interest has increased since listening to a roller derby girl, aka Evil Doll, talk at Wednesday night's Pecha Kucha. I found her inspiring. She obviously loved what she did, but also had a real enthusiasm and commitment to giving back local communities. It was also to the sport's apparent inclusiveness that I responded to. It seems like they'll welcome all women.

I have been dying to go see Roller Derby since we lived in Brooklyn! Never got round to it so count me in if you're going!
I sooo want to go, but I have about 3 things on the 7th March. Not sure what to do right now, but I'll let you know. It does look like fun!
