My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

Bizness Babes

I've just started working for Bizness Babes
as the coordinator for Queensland. I was offered the job a couple of week ago and simply couldn't refuse. As much as I may grumble about being busy I really do love to be. This job gives me a terrific chance to share all the things I've learnt to do (and not do) from running my own business. Plus I know I'll be learning so much from all the fabulous Bizness Babes themselves, because the learning never ends.

About: Bizness Babes(BiB)is,a dynamic program that provides free business training to mothers who otherwise might not get the chance (and we all deserve a chance!). We’ve already helped women throughout Australia create their own businesses, including many from disadvantaged and marginalised communities. Our free and fun-filled courses include expert advice and guidance on everything from business planning and finance to design, marketing and product launches. We even have an in house micro-financing program to get your fledgling business off the ground.

Let me introduce you just a few of the Queensland Bizness Babes graduates:

Kelley from Peppermint magazine

Natalie from Miss Dish

Kate from Dash Robin Designs

Well that doesn't sound like a job at all! It sounds like fun! What a great idea and how lucky you are to be part of it. :)
