My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

The Family Business





Here are a couple of shots of my great uncle's factory in Sydney (think he had two along with various other businesses) where he manufactured jewellery, lipstick cases, compacts etc.

I am currently finding myself interested in discovering more about my family history since there are a number of jewellers and jewellery designers.

Uncle Tom (of the above photos above) migrated to Sydney from Sicily in the 1930's and promptly set himself up selling flowers outside the cemetery.

I guess I can only hope to have inherited a fraction of this true entrepreneurial spirit.
