You just never know how things are going to turn out when dealing with the media. It somehow seems that when your expectations are high you end up with little or no promotion, and when they are low, things tend to turn out great. Maybe that's just how it seems.
Anyway, after discussing my rocky experiences (below) with being interviewed for last Sunday's article in The Age, it seems only fair that I show you how it all turned out. Pretty darn good! Images really are the key to fabulous exposure. They are when you make pretty things that you want people to buy, or just to help remember you.

- My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

Hey, Liana, fantastic coverage! I am still enjoying my necklace and bangles. I wore them on a trip to Adelaide last week and received so many comments as usual! One lady working in an op shop made me give her your name so she could rush off and google you!
Go the recyclers! I reckon they could have filled the whole magazine with similar stories.
Do you ever need more knitting needles? I see thousands a week, but not sure if there is a "holy grail" of needles.....mmm.
It looked amazing Liana congrats!
Congratulations!
