About Liana

Brisbane, Australia
My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

What Colour Is This??

I think this brooch is red/crimson but others have called it pink. I really just can't see the pink in it, but I'm afraid I'm in the minority. Would you mind helping me see the light (the colour) and tell me what you think? IS IT RED OR IS IT PINK?

hmm, to me it looks pink. dark pink, but that may just be my computer. it could also have something to do with the background colour, maybe if you photographed it against pink the red would be redder?
whatever the colour - it's beautiful Liana!

I'm such a fence sitter! I would say raspberry.

Given that I actually own one of these exact shades of brooch, I would have to say that it's a particularly dark shade of purply rose pink.

Tough call, though. It's right on the line, and I would forgive those who call it red.

What about "watermelon"?

It's pink. Kind of a salmon.

Looks pink to me! But a dark pink.

Well it seems to be pink - although I really like the watermelon suggestion.

Thank you all for taking the time, you have been terribly convincing.
