About Liana

- My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

Knit1 Blog1
Craft ACT is going knitting mad! They will be hosting an exhibition and accompanying workshops that explores the world of those that knit & blog.
When I was asked to send some Knitwit jewellery along, for the retail aspect of the exhibition, I couldn't really say no (not that I wanted to!). It seemed to me like a great opportunity to feel a part of the knitting/blogging world, and support those that have so generously supported me.
I won't be making it to Canberra for the show but I will be keeping up to date with all the activities through the Knit1 Blog1 blog and also though the Craft ACT website.
The show opens tonight and runs until 26 August.

Hi Liana, I just wanted to say thank you for my gorgeous Knitwit bangle, which arrived safely in the mail. I just love it! And seeing as how I won it as a prize, I will wear it when I need some luck. Thanks a million, Angela
After teaching a class at the Knit 1 Blog 1 show, I blew more than my earnings on one of your knitting needle bangles and some earrings for my Dotter - they're just wonderful! Thanks for sending your work down to Canberra.
I finally gave in today at the Knit1 Blog 1 Friday knit in, and asked them to open the cabinet so I could try one of your necklaces on. I loved it, and have convinced the beloved one that he should get in quick before my birthday (in two months).
