My studio is located in Brisbane, Australia. For the past 10 years I’ve been enjoying creating jewellery designs from an array of mundane materials. Tupperware and knitting needles have remained a firm favourite. My designs have been published numerous times, graced the shelves of many wonderful galleries and stores and been worn by those whose aren’t afraid of colour and attention. All of which I am very grateful for. For several years I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with many businesses as a coach and workshop facilitator.

Today I Stop Trying To Sell Things

Today I stop trying to sell things.

To clarify -
of course I will still be selling my designs. Although this won't be the priority, for a while at least.

For the past two years I've been working four days a week as a business coach. Which I really, really love! But when you do the math that only leaves me with one day a week to run a business, unless of course I allow it to spill into the evening and weekends - which it has! Even then there is never enough time.

So the priority now will be to do the two things that matter most to me -

1. be creative
2. be an inspiration

1. Just create.
Create all those things I've been wanting to.
 Be open to new ideas.
 Enjoy the process.
How exciting!

2. Share the creations and the process.
 Talk about it.
That's exciting too!

I believe if I'm brave and let some things go and do what I can do really really well, things will end up working out.
And I'll end up exactly where I'm supposed to be.

Now  I'm going to stop thinking about what I should be doing
 and just do.

The image above is of several triangle necklaces. Making use of the hundreds of  leftover knitting needle middles I've collected over the years.

Letting go...sometimes it needs to be done. Not just to give yourself a rest, but also the huge crafty loving public out there who no doubt need a rest too. I don't think anyone who's interested hasn't already seen, bought, favorited, pinned or liked my early work!
I like to leave things to fate( as well as working hard to evolve my product) so Yes , we are going to end up where we are supposed to be, and then happily move forward from there!
good luck xxxxLiz
